Part I KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CORONAVIRUS ( 4 QUESTIONS)
Q 1 How COVID-19 Spreads?
A: The virus is spreads mainly from person-to-person.Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
Q 2 Can someone spread the virus without being sick?
A: People are thought to be most contagious when they are most symptomatic (the sickest). Some spread might be possible before people show symptoms; there have been reports of this occurring with this new corona virus, but this is not the main way the virus spreads.
Q 3 Can the virus spread from contact with contaminated surfaces or objects?
A: It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not the main way the virus spreads.
Q4 how easily the virus spreads?
A: How easily a virus spreads from person-to-person can vary. Some viruses are highly contagious (spread easily), like measles, while other viruses do not spread as easily. Another factor is whether the spread is sustained, spreading continually without stopping. The virus that causes COVID-19 seems to be spreading easily and sustainably in the community (“community spread”) in some affected geographic areas. Community spread means people have been infected with the virus in an area, including some who are not sure how and where they became infected.
Part II SOME TIPS AGAINST THE NEW CORONA VIRUS
1.Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak
The outbreak information is available through your national and local public health authority. If a certain area has more cases of outbreak, avoid going there. If the authority can report the travel history of each patient, remember those places the patients have been to and avoid those places, too. In our city whenever there is a new case, our authority will tell us the previous travel history exactly of he patient in the past 14 days, and we will keep in mind and avoid those places .
2.Wash your hands frequently
Wash your hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands. This is especially important for your children.
3.Maintain social distancing
Maintain at least 2 meters (6 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Because when someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease. When we go shopping, we normally maintain 2 meters away from anybody. When greeting each other, avoid any form of physical contact, including shaking hands. Instead, just wave, nod or bow .
4.Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick. Please warn as many times as possible your children of this.
5.Stay at home with work and school learning
If you can handle your work at home, stay at home, that’s the safest. For the child’ s education, encourage online learning. You may find countless online learning resources and select some for children. Make plans for them, play inside the house and doing indoor sports. Assign one member in the family to go out for shopping necessities regularly,The others stay at home until it’s safe outside .
In sum, the safest way is to avoid or postpone going out and stay at home enjoying family time. This is what we do. If you go out, wear masks, this is a must, because the virus is airborne transmission, which spreads very fast.
Part III BREAKDOWN OF FACE MASKS
All of the masks, explained below ; If you have been sick, wear N95; if not, disposable general face mask or medical face mask will be enough because long time wearing of N95 is not comfortable.
